We recommend you work with a partner and avoid assembling on rainy or windy days. PLAcEmENT Having a level site is the most important step in placing your building. You’ll need a flat area large enough for the footprint of your entire structure. Also, consider what you’ll be storing and where you’ll need it. You’ll want to place your building where it’s convenient to use, too. ASSEmBLY Our steel lawn buildings have precut and predrilled parts to make assembly fast and easy. Some designs actually snap together! Each part is identified with a factory number, and our illustrated instructions will take you step-by-step through the assembly process. STEEL LAWN BUiLDiNG ANATOMY What goes into our steel lawn buildings (besides your tools and other items)? ROOF AND SIDING Our roofs and sidings are constructed of galvanized steel with a 12-year limited warranty or vinyl-coated galvanized steel (resists scratches and fading) with a 15-year limited warranty. Whichever you choose, you’re getting a building that’s made to protect your belongings from the elements for years to come. OVERHEAD STORAGE If you need extra height in your building, consider a barn style or mansard style. Mansard style buildings actually have an attic frame to allow easy overhead storage. DOOR STYLES Our buildings come with a variety of door styles – sliding, swinging and garage-style overhead. You’ll want to make sure yours is wide and tall enough for the items you’ll be taking in and out in your building. INTERIOR FEATURES The open interior of each building allows you to customize your storage space as desired. Each building’s basic frame is rigid steel. We strongly recommend the use of an optional floor frame kit. This will enable you to lay down a sturdy, attractive plywood floor (plywood not included) to keep your stored items off the ground. STEEL Floor Frame Kit Prior to assembly, make sure the building site is square and level. ( Professional assembly available. See an associate for details.) All Arrow buildings must be anchored. www.sears.com 3
